My friend told me a hilarious anecdote today, I almost peed laughing.
I always make sure to save my best anecdotes for parties.
No one believes your anecdotes, stop trying to have friends.
My grandfather always loved to tell his WWII anecdotes.
It is not always wise to begin an essay with an anecdote.
